We are currently seeking candidates for our 2025-2026 ballot for the following positions:

• President-Elect (3 year commitment)
• Treasurer-Elect (3 year commitment)
• Atlanta Region Representative (2 year commitment)
• Professional Development Chair-Elect (2 year commitment)
• Nominating Committee - 3 candidates needed (2 year committment)

The strength of the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics comes from the member volunteers who coordinate and oversee areas related to:

• Media Activities
• Community Outreach/ Events
• Strategic Planning
• Communications
• Diet Manual Updates
• Membership Recruitment/ Retention
• Student Involvement
• Mentoring
• Legislation/ Public Policy (state level)
• Serving as liaison with other allied health professionals or organization
• Assisting with the Annual Conference

Most of the positions on the Board of Directors are appointed.  And those few that are elected require some Board experience.
